Agreement Resolves Approximately 440 Total Claims Against the Diocese and Its Related Entities

Under the terms of the agreement, the Diocese has agreed to pay $148 million toward the resolution of approximately 440 child sexual abuse claims pending against it, a significant milestone that lays the groundwork for a full resolution of the Diocese's ongoing bankruptcy proceedings.
